| The material used for the Pedrini’s “le lillotte” cake tin moulds, is a liquid non toxic silicon with platonic catalyst (a product also used in the medical sector, for example in the manufacturing of heart valves). The silicon can be fully recycled, complies with all international regulations for materials in contact with food (HACCP), and is manufactured in Italy. | What are the advantages of cooking using silicon moulds? |

| Using silicon moulds means an energy saving of about 30%. Their thermal conductivity leads to shorter cooking times, at temperatures approximately 20°/30° C lower than those used for metal moulds. | Just a few precautions are enough to appreciate how practical and easy to use, Lilotte cake tins are. First of all, no sharp or pointed objects should be used. The cake tins should not be placed in direct contact with fire or electric plates. We also recommended to remove cakes only once they are cold. Before using your Lilotte cake tins for the first time, the mould should be washed, either by hand or in the dishwasher, using a non abrasive detergent. |
